Just got back and have to say that the trip wasn't all that bad. The first day or so was probably horrible due to disgusting room but we changed and went onto a pool side room and it was uphill from that! People were nice but vendors are pushy but that's how they all are.
They were NOT discret!! Anyways, not bad if you are there with a party group and hotel staff were friendly. Wish that the stores there were cheaper but you can bargain with vendors! Hi everyone, I just came back from my vacation. I was there for 7 nights. Nice room with a pool view, great food, a lot of choices, great beach and great people. I don't know why this place has so many negative comments so I decided to write my experience too.
If you are going just for the vacation, to enjoy the sun and the beach this is a great place, but if you expect to go to the town and change the bar every night, then this is not for you. I felt very safe, weather was great, not too hot not too cold-excellent! I was playing a lot of ping pong, volley ball, aerobic The only thing where I would have an objection is that it was very hard to close the the door to the terrace and since I was on the first floor I was a little bit afraid sometimes of knowing that someone could come in.
But I also saw that they are making a lot of renovations, so I'm sure they will fix it soon. If you are not satisfied with your room just go to the reception and ask politely to change it.
