I moved here because my previous hotel screwed up my entire room booking. So I moved here, and they screwed up my room booking after I told them the reason I moved there is because the previous hotel made same mistake. I was very sick and unpacking took a lot of energy, I was in town for hospital visits and treatment.
Then I had some students come to visit. They were dressed nicely as they were going out after. The front desk treated them like prostitutes. When I said they weren't and tried to explain the front desk snapped and me and told me not to lie to her. Won't return. As it's the same address and having booked Giang Son Hotel 2 I assume the latter for this review. Clean hotel, clean room, glass partitioning the bathroom. Shower curtain segregating wc and wash.
Shower area has no soap or shampoo holder which means you have to stretch past the shower curtain across the wc to access the soap. The wc is too close to the glass panel and would pose problems for customers with long legs. Another negative is the noise from the street. Rate included breakfast consisting of bread rolls and 2 eggs and a sort of sausage, fresh fruit, tea and coffee.
No lift, just stairs so not for the unfit. Staff friendly and helpful. Would have preferred a lower rate without breakfast. It is very outdated. We felt terrified when we entered in the room. We stayed just one night. Although the floor is clean the bathroom is quite disgusting.
It is compulsory to remove shoes at the reception and it is slippery to go down the staircase on your bare feet. The only positive thing is that it is close to the bus station to catch the bus to the airport.
